In view of the health situation and the latest government decisions relating to containment, we see ourselves forced to postpone the day of December 3 at the BnF entitled: “Digital data an endangered species”.

On the occasion of the 20 years of the PIN group, the Aristote association, in collaboration with the AAF, offers you on December 3, a day to measure the evolution of thinking on long-term digital preservation during the last decades. It will be an opportunity to relive the great moments, to cross again the approaches of the communities of libraries, archives, preservation technologies and to share the most recent experiences.
Alternating between conferences, presentations and posters, this day will provide an opportunity to take stock of the state of the art of digital preservation and the development of communities’ skills from the prehistory of sustainability to the present day. A final roundtable will focus on a prospective view on the future of digital preservation.
