“L’École Française d’Extrême-Orient” has a large collection of photographs or developed on glass plates, stereoscopic plates, etc.. taken since the 19th century as part of heritage missions in the Far East. These documents have been scanned, the project archive EFEO aims to ensure their permanent conservation.
Depuis le 15 mars 2011, l’École française d’Extrême-Orient est entrée en production.
This represents nearly 85,000 images to be archived. End 2013, more than 23000 deposits were archived.
