Business process Managment

Long term preservation PAC service is currently at the heart of a dynamic of continuous improvement of the quality of its services and of the transparency on archival activities. An approach of business process management formalization has been undertaken within the PAC (long term preservation service) at CINES.

CINES went beyond the mere mapping of business processes: ensuring the uniqueness of the objects represented in the diagrams provided, this approach is similar to the modeling process. This work thus allows archiving CINES team to have more than a simple documentation of its activity: it can monitor the consistency of its information system, monitor and manage its performance and make self- evaluations.
