CINES provides its community of users with a set of very high capacity technical resources and application services with high added value:

The HPC environment

The archiving platform

The long-term archiving platform at CINES – PAC v3.0 has been in production since 2008.

Capacity: 300 TB on 2 DELL storage bays of 150 TB each.
Arcsys archiving software (Infotel)
Redundant virtualized architecture with 2 PowerEdge R730 hypervisors
2 IBM TS-3500 Tape Libraries, with LTO4 and JAGUAR Drive (use as needed)
1 Fiber channel interconnection network
